Removal of profit lunch and learn webinar 8 September: for children’s social care teams
The Health and Social Care (Wales) Act removes profit from services for children in care. By 2030, children’s care in Wales will move to a not-for-profit model, so more money is reinvested in supporting children.
This will affect how local authorities find and provide homes for children and young people in their care.
ADSS Cymru is supporting local authorities across Wales to prepare for and deliver these changes.
We are hosting a lunch and learn webinar for children’s services teams across Wales on Tuesday 8 September, at 12noon. The session will focus on residential services.
