ADSS Cymru is leading the way to make social care in Wales fairer, more inclusive, and free from racism. Through Welsh Government's Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan (ARWAP), we work with local authorities, Social Care Wales, the WLGA, and the wider sector to ensure that people from ethnic minority backgrounds face no barriers to employment, progression, or participation in social care. Our reports and programmes explore key areas including recruitment, career development, workplace culture, and interpretation services, providing evidence-based recommendations to drive lasting change.
This programme is about turning commitment into action. From leadership workshops and the Cultural Ambassador Network to a digital Knowledge Hub sharing tools and case studies, we support local authorities to embed anti-racist practices across the sector. Whether you're a social care professional, leader, or stakeholder, this space offers the resources, learning, and connections to make a real difference in creating workplaces and services where everyone can thrive.
